CMOS Test and Evaluation: A Physical Perspective is a single source for an integrated view of test and data analysis methodology for CMOS products, covering circuit sensitivities to MOSFET characteristics, impact of silicon technology process variability, applications of embedded test structures and sensors, product yield, and reliability over the lifetime of the product. This book also covers statistical data analysis and visualization techniques, test equipment and CMOS product specifications, and examines product behavior over its full voltage, temperature and frequency range.

Here, the authors' unique focus is on the key issues of networked learning. These include: policy issues, the costs of networked learning, staff development issues, and the student experience. With contributions from authors based in Europe and the US and Australia, it offers a global perspective which is designed to inform professional practice and its administration. It will be essential reading for practitioners and researchers in higher education and learning technology and will be of interest to policy-makers and managers in HE academic administration. It will also be relevant to learning technologists, support staff, as well as students and researchers in education and social science.

The increasing demand for mobile and wireless sensing necessitates the use of highly integrated technology featuring small size, low weight, high performance and low cost: micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) can meet this need. The Handbook of MEMS for wireless and mobile applications provides a comprehensive overview of radio frequency (RF) MEMS technologies and explores the use of these technologies over a wide range of application areas.

Thinking: Objects: Contemporary Approaches to Product Design discusses influences on modern product design such as globalization, technology, the media and the need for a sustainable future, and demonstrates how readers can incorporate these influences into their own work. The book also discusses how readers can learn to read the signals an object sends, interpret meaning and discover historical context.
Thinking: Objects provides an essential reference tool that will enable you to find your own style and succeed in the industry.

This book constitutes the proceedings of the Second Joint International Conference on Serious Games, JCSG 2016, held in Brisbane, QLD, Australia, in September 2016. This conference bundles the activities of the International Conference on Serious Games Development and Applications, SGDA, and the Conference on Serious Games, GameDays.
The total of 36 full papers and 5 short papers was carefully reviewed and selected from numerous submissions. The papers were organized in topical sections named: health, well-being and accessibility; education, learning and training; science, nature and heritage; design, development and analysis; poster papers; exhibits.

This book features papers presented at the International Conference on Advances in Information and Communication Technology (ICTA 2016), which was held in Thai Nguyen city, Vietnam, from December 1 to 13, 2016.

Comprehension of the theories of aging requires rudimentary knowledge of oxidation and reduction reactions, protein function, cell organelles, mitosis, acquired immunity, and evolution, among other basic biological concepts.  Without these fundamentals, students of biological aging struggle to learn the essentials of biological aging and how to appreciate the research advances in the field.

A visit to your local mechanic costs you time and money, especially when you could learn to pull that bottom bracket yourself. But even the most seasoned home mechanic will find the Park Tool book useful when there's a $5k jewel dangling from the stand. Compiled and updated yearly by the number-one bike-tool company in the world, the Big Blue Book contains step-by-step instructions for repairing everything from road to bmx bikes, whether you're doing simple maintenance or a complete overhaul. Lots of photos allow your 6-year-old daughter to walk you through the most complicated of repairs, and as a result you'll spend less money on six-packs for your local mechanic.

This book gives a practical introduction how you can access the source code of Eclipse IDE projects and contribute features and fixes back to these open source projects. It starts with an introduction to the structure of the Eclipse open source project. Afterwards it explains how to configure the Eclipse IDE for code contributions and explains the usage of the Gerrit review system. Afterwards a short introduction into unit testing is given.

Energy Storage explains the underlying scientific and engineering fundamentals of all major energy storage methods. These include the storage of energy as heat, in phase transitions and reversible chemical reactions, and in organic fuels and hydrogen, as well as in mechanical, electrostatic and magnetic systems. Updated coverage of electrochemical storage systems considers exciting developments in materials and methods for applications such as rapid short-term storage in hybrid and intermittent energy generation systems, and battery optimization for increasingly prevalent EV and stop-start automotive technologies. This nuanced coverage of cutting-edge advances is unique in that it does not require prior knowledge of electrochemistry. Traditional and emerging battery systems are explained, including lithium, flow and liquid batteries. Energy Storage provides a comprehensive overview of the concepts, principles and practice of energy storage that is useful to both students and professionals.
